Hi all, I am tight on time, and thinking of skipping the lecture questions and going straight to the 30 minute exam questions after reading each chapter. What are your thoughts? Did you find the lecture questions valuable? And how?

Lecture questions are good for solidifying basic content review. If you feel like you got the material down cold then those questions should take you no more than 5 min per set. I skipped over the questions the second time around and did fine. The 30 minute exams are pretty good and range from stupid hard and relatively fair.

In my opinion, active learning is always better than passive learning. I would rather read the lecture less thoroughly and do the questions than skip the questions and read more thoroughly. As the previous poster mentioned, the questions should not take long at all if you know the material. If you don't, then the questions will force you to learn what EK thinks the high yield topics are.
