Does this package include all the prep for each subject on the mcat and the 1001 question bank...or do you have to buy all that separately?

p.s. why are mcat practice tests labeled as a number followed by a letter?....I am new to all of this and I am not sure what "3G" means referring to the practice tests...? is it a symbol for april or august and the date?

The complete study package includes the subject review books. I know if you buy it directly from the EK folks they'll throw in a free practice MCAT. You can find the set cheaper on amazon.com and ebay.com, but I'm unsure if they'll toss in the practice exam ... The 101/1001 books need to be purchased separately.

I purchased the complete package from books-a-million.com and got a free exam as well. perhaps it is standard.

I have a quick question,

Im planning on doing all the prep on my own what set of books would you all suggest that is as thorough as possible for all the subjects covered on the MCAT, im willing to spend a li extra since Ill be saving money by not taking the actual prep course, thanks guys.

There are several forums in the MCAT section that address' your question. I would recommend starting there. Take a glance and you will find that everyone's opinion differs and no one can give you a straight answer.

I'm doing the same thing as you. I've chosen Examkrackers and Kaplan as my study material. I've been pleased by what they offer so far.

Good luck!
