Totally agree. I love being the only option. My last job I joined another podiatrist in an MSG. Joining one with 4 others - shoot me.The best part of my hospital employed gig is that I don't have to deal with other podiatrists. I would hate to join a hospital practice where there are several already employed. Doesn't sound fun at all.
@NewPodGrad2019 are those surgical positions?
I have no idea. These are job boards that I signed on to since when I was a resident so I still get the emails for new job openings. @G0dFather created this tread for us to post job listings to help others so that is what I am doing. I am in no way affiliated with any of these postings.
No godfather made this thread to post “gotcha’s” about MSG/Hospital jobs that supposedly don’t pay what MGMA and Sullivan Cotter surveys say that they pay.

And I'm sold.
Funny story, back when I was looking for a job.
Found on LinkedIn, a podiatry position offering 200k starting for Monday-Friday work. Doesn't provide any more details. Put my CV, and three hours later I get a call.
Lady on the phone says "Yes, we have a position available, it is very exciting and we are looking for someone to start right away. The owner has lots of nursing homes available."
I was like "Oh, it's nursing homes?" and the lady replied "yes...." and I replied, "Ok I am sorry but I'm going to have to pass". Lady hung up on me right after I said pass lol.
I got that email too. Also one for a West Virginia hospital a couple weeks ago$250K Podiatry

Same...I just wonder why it's so cryptic. Just says Iowa. I guess you have to actually send your CV and apply to find out where...I got this randomly in my email today too.
The recruiter wants the referral bonus. If they told you were it was and applied yourself you cut out the middleman.Same...I just wonder why it's so cryptic. Just says Iowa. I guess you have to actually send your CV and apply to find out where...
Hope more and more of these pop-up and put a good squeeze on greedy private practice owners.

You mean jobs like this....
And shame on ACFAS for allowing this type of job to be postedWhat % of these types of jobs do you think the practice knows they’re only getting someone for a year or three and are fine replacing them regularly? And what % honestly believe they can find someone to be salaried in clinic for $85-100k who will stick around long term?
I think there are more of these jobs than you’d expect, where the owners are so out of touch with current medical salaries that they think the above pay is reasonable. As in, they have no idea that they would have to start a PA at $100k and any worthwhile NP is going to want something more like $140-160k guaranteed. Then again, groups all over the country are filling jobs with contracts like the one linked…
And shame on ACFAS for allowing this type of job to be posted
