In my primary application I wrote a short entry for shadowing a DO and was wondering if its a bad look to expand on this experience in my secondaries when asked about my exposure to osteopathic medicine? It is pretty clear I am expanding on the same experience, but just going more in depth into the patient interaction and OMM that I was able to observe and how it inspired me to pursue an osteopathic medical education. I've only had the opportunity to shadow one DO so I don't have tons of experience to draw upon, but this one was pretty impactful and I think i write about it well. Thanks!

Not a bad thing at all. I did that, but spoke on a different experience for my DO shadowing experience in my secondary than my primary. What I wrote came up in my interview, which turned to an A. It is certainly not a bad look!

ok thats good to hear! I basically expanded on the same patient interaction but just went way more in depth and elaborated on how i see it fitting the DO philosophy and what not, so im hoping that will be good enough!
