My college requires a fee of $10 every time you want to send your official transcript somewhere. This is expensive, especially after mailing out your transcript to many places, which I need to do when applying to jobs and such.
Is there a cheaper alternative?
For example, can I send my official college transcript to a company that can make copies of it and they can send it out many times for a small fee?
Something such as Interfolio?
Any thoughts?
Thanks

Do all of these places require an official transcript? In my experience, medical schools accept unofficial transcripts. I requested transcripts from my schools, scanned them to pdf, and then sent them that way, and haven't had a problem yet.

Generally you only need to send an official transcript to AMCAS and/or TMDSAS. Once you get accepted, you need to send an official transcript to the 1 school you decide to matriculate at.

you need an official transcript for jobs? i think they usually take an unofficial one until an offer is made and you accept

If you do need an official anything, like for the schools that don't use AMCAS LOR service, send an official copy to Interfolio and use them to send it for, I think, $4 each, much cheaper than my school's $20+ to send the official letter packet. If you are TDMSAS it includes an Interfolio account.
