Experience with New MD/JD Programs

Anyone ever been part of the first class for an MD/JD program? Any regrets about how you approached it? What specifically did the school end up doing the most fine-tuning on about the program? Any regrets or things you wish you would've known before even doing MD/JD?

Also, any info on why/how these programs (as in, if it was student-initiated or suggested by faculty or something admin in academic affairs wanted, etc) came up at your school would be much appreciated insight.
