Hi everyone, I'm new here and apologize because I know this question has been asked a million times in just as many ways- However..

Long story short: I earned a B.S. degree in Psychology when I was a youngster (teens-early 20's). I had my head up my butt for much of my education. My overall GPA wasn't stellar- We're talking 2.6ish.. I like to think it was so low because I worked 50 hours a week to pay for school 🙂 Anyway, I changed my evil ways and went back to school. I've completed most of the pre-pharm curriculum and have a science/math GPA of 3.8- My question: Do I have a chance of getting into Pharmacy school even though I screwed up?

Thanks

do you have pharmacy experience?
do you have high pcat score?
do you have 3.5+ gpa in the last 2-3 years?
if you answered yes to all of these then you should be fine.

if you have done well in your upper-level science courses,do well on the pcat and get lots of pharmacy experience, and do very well on your interview, then you might be able to get accepted.

I think most schools, including mine, could understand the low overall GPA. If your pre-pharmacy material is 3.8 and you have other great stats then you should probably get in.
