Ok, dipping my toe into the pond, very unsure if I'm going to move forward but need a couple quick questions answered.
Background: very successful application cycle for entering 2012 class (both MD & DO acceptances) but withdrew my acceptances as my 10yr old passed away 3 weeks before classes were to start.
Fast forward, I went back to my professional career but am toying with trying one more time but due to family/$ reasons not for 2 more years putting me at 40.
I intend to retake the MCAT as the exam is changing (34 the first time so honestly not worried). But my question is this:
1) do I need to find a way to replace my LOR's? I had excellent professional references from Dr's that knew me personally but haven't spoken to in some time and then a committee letter from a school that I haven't attended since 2011.
2) Grades/classes: if it will be ~5 years since I took all my core sciences (chem/bio/physics) is that going to be an issue?
Don't need great detail, just a yes/no from someone that knows because frankly if either of those are an issue I may not be practical to even try unfortunately...
Thanks,
