Explain Post-Bacc

Hi, I am thinking that since I have next year off before the 2006 med term; I have thought about maybe taking some classes next fall to boost up my GPA. Is this what is considered post-bacc work or are what people considering on here more like specific programs and everything. Since I already have my prereqs done, and I don't really feel like doing anything in my major(bacteriology), I was just thinking of taking some anatomy and biochem classes or something. Is this a good idea? Is it too late to decide this since I have already graduated?
