General Admissions & OTCAS Extension on $$ due date

Has anyone asked for an extension on the deposit for saving your seat in a school that accepted you? What exactly did you say when you asked? Did the school grant it? I’m asking two schools for extensions today and I have no idea how to ask.

I asked and was granted an extension with Nova OTD. I just pointed out that it was a big decision to make and if it was possible could I recieve an extension for the decision. Also used that my fasfa information from the school wasn't yet available, and it was hard to accept a position in which I wasn't sure what the financial situation would look like.

I said I have been out of school working for a year and a half and I would like to consider all of my options before making a substantial financial commitment and they extended my deadline two weeks! Just be honest about your situation.

No I emailed the lady who had sent my acceptance information. I cannot remember her name though. I would just respond within that same thread of your acceptance email asking for the extension. They granted me 2 weeks
