Next summer I plan on taking the mcat. By then I will have all my prerequisites done plus Human Physiology ( 4 credits) and Cell Bio (6 credits, broken up into two semesters). I was wondering is my gpa worth bring down in order to slide in genetics ( 5 credits)?

Don't sacrifice your GPA just to "slide in" an extra class.

Unless you are very certain you will do well in the class, I wouldn't take a heavy load.

If you're going in with the mindset that you're GPA is going to go down, then why would you even consider it?
