Just finishing up my app - wondering how people handled this section labeled Extracurricular/Volunteer/Community Service...

I've got some Volunteer/CS to fill in there - but wondering if this is my best chance to share some non-volunteer interests of mine that I find applicable that did not fit in my pers statement.

without going into detail there is a hobby i'd like to share as well as some patient care experiences that don't fall into the other categories. Hard part is filling "Name of organization" "Hours" etc..

anybody else think about or do this?

Also, just to confirm, would this be a good place to put down sports played as well? The volunteering/community service made me think they're looking specifically at volunteer-based ECs~ I just don't know where else I would put it down 😛

It all depends on who you are/ how you want to present yourself. If you want to put in your hobbies DO IT! Let is show who you are. I'd honestly go see (and then call if going to see is not an option) my admissions director(s) for the colleges I want to gain admission to and ask them, they will know for sure.
