Hey guys,
so basically after the rest of this year, I have my senior year and then one quarter left after that. I'm not sure whether or not I should take the rest of the year off and do the extra quarter after my fourth year, or just do the one quarter this summer during summer school and be done in four years. If I take the course during this summer school session, I would be able to apply for dental school directly following my senior year. If not, I'd have to finish out that last quarter, and then wait on applying to dental school until the next cylce.
My only problem with possibly taking the courses I need during the summer is because my school is undergoing massive budget cuts, there's a good chance that they may scrap summer school all together to lower cost. If they do have summer school, the cost will be extremely high, and financial aid will be cut or unavailable. I could try and take some of my courses at a community college (not any of the pre-reqs, but the classes for my major), but I'm not sure if this would be a good idea. Nor am I even sure I would get in to the classes.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
(and congrats to everyone that got in this cycle! 😀)
