Extracurricular activities/volunteer work - HELP!

Hello everyone,

I am a little bit busy with my school, work, and shadowing. However, it sounds impossible for me to see someone having 900-1000 hours of extracurricular activities.
What kind of extracurricular activities/volunteer work do you suggest? I am not really clear about this.

I haven't done any EC yet, but from what I gathered here in SDN, Quality > Quantity. Do 100hr of something valuable to you/DS finds it a turn on 🙂

I have ~50 hours strictly at a homeless shelter here, with other volunteer activities sprinkled about. Just these 50 hours sparked the interest of my Military recruiter and he stated that it was competitive for the HPSP. Couldn't tell you for DS, though.
