I realize AACOMAS doesn't ask for this, so should it be assumed schools aren't following up on our EC's?

Reason I ask is because one of my EC's was performed overseas several years ago. While I was actively involved for a period of ~4 months, the only person who can verify this speaks little english and checks his email once in a blue moon. He doesn't have a phone either. What do I do here if I'm asked for a contact?

It only ever comes up on the secondaries for only a couple schools (I think NOVA is one just off the top of my head). In which case you would just put the info that you have and thats it. They would not hold back your application because they could not get in contact with a single person on your list; they have better things to do. Worst comes to worst, they dont get in contact with him and then they just ask you about it during your interview, which I am sure you would do a fine job of explaining. So realistically you are fine, just put the contact that you have, it will all work out.

I had a lot of this. Lots of managerial changes at past jobs, places close too. Just fill it out as needed to the best of your ability and if you have some other way to prove what you wrote, gather it up. I have a stack of old mail, pay stubs, and witnesses for this very reason.

[well, not a stack of witnesses, but you know what I mean lol]
