Would it be weird to put a TEDx Talk i did for my app in extracurriculars? I saw something about how tedx talks arent really that significant since theyre not ted talks?

No, it's not weird, especially if it ties in in some way with your other activities or interests.

This is one of the least weird things you could put for extracurriculars. A lot of people hate public speaking so just having the courage to do a TED talk is pretty impressive to me, and probably will be to adcoms and people that interview you as well. The only exception to this would be if the TED talk was on something extremely controversial, but if it was science related then I am sure it was fine.

This shows great public speaking skills and that you have the initiative/drive to do a deep dive into a topic that you're passionate about. Add it, especially if it was an impactful experience.
