Am I doing too many extracurriculars? I wanted to know because I don't want med. schools to feel I am not focusing all my attention to a few good things rather a lot of activities, and thus not being passionate enough. I might just be panicking as always...

I am a Junior now.

I was a member of Premed./Predent. Club for my freshman year.
I have been Vice President for most of the my three years of a child mentoring club.
I shadowed a DO Oncologist 40 hours.
I volunteered 30 hours at RWJ, but I am starting up again this Friday to add more hours weekly.
I was Residential Hall Association Treasurer for two school apartment complexes, over 4,000 students.(Sophomore year)
I am a registered AMSA member.
I did research on animal reproduction one semester for a credit.
I am doing research on aspartame and its effects on rats, by working with a histotech. to make them and I will read them soon.
Over the summer I worked at a medical lab, mainly dealt with insurance.
I am going to be medical coordinator of Rutgers GMB which funds med. relief trips to other countries.
I am founder and President of CARE, an organization which will provide med. help to our New Brunswick community and possibly other communities.
I am currently joining my new apartment board, will hopefully be judiciary chair or philanthropy chair.
I am starting to volunteer at hospice this Saturday.
I don't what else I will do, but I am always looking.

I just want to know if this looks bad, and is it overwhelming? Also what else should I do?

Thank You everyone!

HOLY LORD. This is a lot of EC's but I guess my questions would be, have you enjoyed doing all of this? That will make a huge difference when you explain everything when your applying. The next questions is if the EC's are effecting your GPA or MCAT? If so you obviously have enough nice EC's for medical schools, make sure your have a high (3.6+) to go along with a nice MCAT and youll be a lock for medical schools.

Thanks for the comment! I really do enjoy all that I do, I started Hospice today, and it gave me a sense that I was back in the hospital visiting my father everyday after class when he battled cancer last spring/summer (2009). I love working with children also and my child mentoring program is a way in which I can give kids a better childhood experience. I truly want to help those less fortunate, and I wouldn't start anything that wouldn't benefit me emotionally. I want to know what I should I do to improve my extracurriculars? Also what should I add? My gpa overall is-3.2 and scigpa-3.1. I got B+/B in Bio, B/B in Orgo, C/C+ in chem (I will retake once I graduate), B+ in chem lab, and physics I will take next summer since my major is Evolutionary Anthropology and minor is Nutrition I can't find a way to fit Physics in too well. My MCATs I will take Kaplan courses since I am an amsa member and I get a discount! Does anyone know if these class help a lot? Also which one is better to take? I hope my unusual major doesn't hurt my chances... I just need advice, and I promised to be a doctor for sure to my father and can't let his wishes down. I hope to graduate with a 3.4 overall, 3.2 scigpa, with more extracurr., good MCAT, and do well with my degree courses. If anyone has further advice I would appreciate it thank!
