FA 2006 vs. FA 2004 -- is material same - I know setup is different

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
i didnt exactly compare them, but i know for a fact that there are more pharm charts (like insulin, antibiotics) and pix. i had 2004 and got 2006 cause of the setup.

i have already put the majority of my notes in the 2004 version -- that is my concern..i dont want to have wasted my time.

I have ordered 2006 for the same reasons, but I haven't analyzed enough to know; however, I don't think it was a waste of time to study 2004 for me during the summer because I am a lot more comfortable with First Aid. I plan to have both books open side-by-side while I study to examine any differences so that I can still refer to my notes while looking at any new material in 2006.

I have both the 2004 and the 2006. I just started comparing them page by page. My idea is to go through them side by side (at least the non-organ system part, section II), adding new topics or mnemonics to my annotated 2004 as I find them in the 2006.

So far I'm only through the behavioral science section, but I have already found a few differences. The 2006 has been edited in a few places to change wording and/or remove lines of text under certain subtopics--usually only minor changes with little change in overall meaning. Although I did notice that the 2004 has more HY vignettes at the beginning of the behav sci section. Also, I have found 2 or 3 subtopics and/or mnemonics in the 2006 that were not in the 2004, and a variety of very slightly altered formatting changes.

Overall, the changes are minor so far, but I expect there to be more differences as I progress through the sections.... we'll see.

Slightly off subject, but does anyone know if a list of 2005 errors has been started?

That's a great question. I've been meaning to ask the same thing. I remember seeing a list on a forum similar to SDN a while ago. Does anyone remember where??
