Whats up guys. So two days ago I found out I have an inattentive form of ADHD. Now I'm only bringing this up because of the absolute terrible timing i find out and im looking for some advice. Obviously this is an extremely common disorder and super treatable, the only problem is im going on my 5th year with a 3.0 GPA and hopes of getting accepted into a masters and DAT is coming up Aug 20. Now i finished going through chem/ochem on chads and have a few QR vids left, bio im super behind. I guess the question is can i pull this off...

PS the Dr wrote me a prescription for 10 mg of aderall so my concentration wont be a problem. Its the timing im worried about. Maybe I'm being a little overdramatic who knows

Don't worry. Find a good masters program to get into. Do very well 3.8+ GPA and score well on the DAT 22+. Focus hard, do destroyer and Bootcamp religously. Read Alan's notes everyday for bio. You can do it!

Of course, you can pull that up. just remember you had this all along, now you figured the cure, and you'll be super OK.
We both are taking the DAT on August. Hopefully, we'll be fine, I am behind in Bio too.

The only way you'll know if you're ready to take the DAT is if you're consistently nailing your goal scores (or higher) on practice exams. It seems like you're still in the content-review phase with bio, which covers a lot of ground. Give yourself more time and evaluate where you stand after you've done a sufficient amount of partial/full practice exams. You shouldn't be panicking or missing the mark significantly 2 weeks before you're scheduled exam. If you are, you should heavily consider pushing the date. If that's the case then that's okay! Better safe than sorry. For now just keep at it--have a solid study plan, execute it (revising it as you make progress), and evaluate yourself realistically. Following a thorough recipe for success shouldn't lead to failure.

I believe you for the DAT it could be possible to apply for a disability version and get timing extension. I am not sure if you would qualify, but it is worth looking into.
