Rumor has it a for profit and newer DO program matched around 67% of their students this year. Any idea if this is true and which school it could be?
we only had like 7%. i'm curious how that compares to the really old ones.This. Pretty sure even the most established schools are probably SOAPing 10-15+% of their class this year.
Wouldn't surprise me in the least. RVU.UT seems to be the culpritRumor has it a for profit and newer DO program matched around 67% of their students this year. Any idea if this is true and which school it could be?
The md school associated with where I am soaped like 15% I would image it’s much higher at every DO school in comparison.This. Pretty sure even the most established schools are probably SOAPing 10-15+% of their class this year.
Bc it’s not. There’s no way my school hit 10%.I don't get how it is possible that every DO school SOAPed 10-15% if the overall pre-SOAP match rate is ~90% according to NRMP?
You mean the global 0.9% drop for MDs and the 1.6% drop for DOs. New! Press Release: NRMP Delivers Strong Residency Match During Uncertain Times - The Match, National Resident Matching ProgramI suspect that the match rates will be similar to previous years (with the exception of the global 2% match rate drop for both USMD and DOs), but I imagine that the bulk of unmatched DOs will heavily skew towards newer DO programs with the more established ones continuing to put up good numbers.
I sincerely hope you get off the one WL that you are on by metriculation date. Sending you possitibe vibe. GLThanks for the responses everyone, fortunate to have been accepted at a more well established program, though of course that far from precludes me from the work necessary to earn a residency spot in four years.
Couldn't help my curiosity about such a program, honestly I thought it might have been Burrell before i had a little more info.
