Wasn't sure if this was better suited to pre-med or non-trad... so it's in both places. Sorry.

I am a non-traditional student / career changer. I submitted my FAFSA in late January / early February, intending to apply to my local in-state SMP. I now think that I would instead benefit from more upper division undergraduate sciences at my local 4-year.

So far I have paid for my post-bacc (2 years) out of pocket and have not received any loans from the government.

I submitted my FAFSA with the intention of being a "graduate student" and put the SMP program on the list of schools. Now I want instead to get loans (however minimal in amount) to continue taking more upper division sciences courses.

Does anyone know how/if I can do this???

I know it sounds like a weird change to make, but just assume I have a good reason for it. Thanks!
