I am going to UF dental school and I believe that they want the fafsa stuff completed by March 1st, however this is a problem because my parents won't have my tax/financial information ready until the end of march. Is there any way that instead of using the 2005 tax info that I can use 2004 tax/financial information in its place? Or is there anything else I can do?

I think you can estimate your taxes. Log on and check. I remember a checkbox that asked if the numbers were estimates or if you already filed your taxes.

Definitely use your 2004 tax forms. I think a lot of people are in the same situation. At least same here for me. Not a problem at all🙂 They can also ask us to send in the 2005 forms for verification some time around May or later.

So, we're future classmates? Go gators 😀

You don't have to submit your parents' tax information unless your school has explicitly requested it. If they have, then just enter estimates for the information, which shouldn't be too difficult, and submit it. You can re-enter FAFSA at any time to make adjustments or corrections.

For example, I've already submitted my FAFSA for this year, but I left the tax information blank. I'll update the FAFSA when I actually get around to filing my taxes.
