Hey

For those who already have an acceptance and put down a deposit but are waiting to hear from state or waitlisted schools , how are you filling out the FAFSA? For designated schools, should we also include the schools we're waiting to hear from or just the school we've sent the deposit to? Can schools find out if you've designated your FAFSA info to other schools?

This question came up at one of my interviews and we were told to put down the schools even if we hadn't been accepted yet. If they accept you and you decide to go, then, they will get the info from fafsa.

I'm not sure if schools can find out what other schools you've designated but I would imagine they can't. Hope that helps.

you dont have to complete a new whole FAFSA, but you could just update the one you already completed.

No, you just go to where it says add a school. And its takes about 2-3 days to process an additional school.
