Hi all,

I entered Pennsylvania as my state of residence on the AMCAS, and I am currently filling out my FAFSA. I lived in PA from 2003-2005, moved to NJ where I lived from 2005-2015, and then lived in PA again from 2015-2019. On the FAFSA, it asks if I have lived in PA for 5 years. I was wondering if it is acceptable to combine the total amount of time I have lived in PA and answer "yes" for that question, or whether I can only consider the 4 consecutive years I have lived in PA recently.

If it is the second option, then does that mean I selected the wrong state of residence for my AMCAS and that my acceptance to a PA public medical school is in jeopardy?
