Hi, I guess people are filling out FAFSA soon.
Just in case, here is a place to ask questions.

Ooh, ooh, I have one (and just when you thought I'd stop all my annoying posts).

Does anyone know whether you can still get FAFSA-derived federal funding if:
(a) You're only part-time, and
(b) You're not a degree-seeking student?

All other things remain equal, like financial need (=HUGE), EFC, and all that stuph.

yes, you can. as long as you are a degree seeking student and AT LEAST half time (determind by your school), you are eligible for goverment $$$.

ok, so i have interviewed at 4 schools so far. UCONN, Meharry, UCSF, and IUSD.

i am going to submit my FAFSA tonight, but i am having a real hard time trying to decide what other schools i should put on my FAFSA.

since i am on UCONN's waitlist, which they won't even look at, i don't think i should include UCONN.
so that leaves me 3 schools and 3 more to guess for the FAFSA. i thought i may have a chance at Creighton since they don't interview.

what am i going to guess for the other 2 schools? USC and UCLA seem like a long shot for me at this point and still don't know if i'd get an interview at UNLV.

god i hate this whole thing. anyone have any suggestions?

thanks

Perfect,

If I were you, I'd put down ALL the school you interviewed at, and maybe a few schools you think you might eventually interview with. That way you'll be safe "just in case"

i know UCONN is completely out. they have gotten more dep than they have room for. so being on their waitlist is being rejected.

i think i'll put UCLA. you never know. plus they should give me an interview just for me filling out their 20 page long secondary.lol

keep in mind that we could change fafsa info.

Does anyone know if we can estimate our tax information on the FAFSA? If so, do this affect our processing time?
