Hi. I failed the CPJE by just 1 point. Should I completely change my studying strategy and studying resources or should I just use the same resources and keep doing what I was doing?
Thanks.
Thanks.
If you failed by one point, you are on the right track. I know it is very disappointing and frustrating to fail by this little. Don't feel like you did something wrong. I failed the test a while ago. I will retake it in few weeks. I failed the patient medication section but passed the other two. Now I am studying the same way as before using same study materials but I am trying to memorize more brand name, dosing, monitoring parameters. This time around I'll try to memorize at least 500 brand names.Hi. I failed the CPJE by just 1 point. for patient medications i got a "low score". and patient outcomes i got a "very low score". i'm already a pharmacist too lolIf you failed by one point, you are on the right track. I don't know if this is the right way to approach your second attempt but this is what I am doing. Try to improve on that one section that got you to fail the test.
I don't think being a pharmacist would help you much to pass this test. It is about cramming and memorizing a whole bunch of random information that you may not use it in the future. With a score of 50, you definitely need to increase your studying hours. Don't just rely on the law part to pass this test. Start studying again RxPrep, PNN, or whatever study materials you have and make your own notes. I use quizlet myself and per brand/generic, I add few important information about each drug. I like having my own notes vs using available notes online because I retain information better this way. Before your next attempt, use a Qbank and check your readiness (average scores 70-80+%). Now you have taken this test, you should know how it is like.what should i do to prepare?

I cannot really tell you how to prepare. This test makes no sense. Just do your best.
I think it is 1 year from the date you got your ATT not after you get your results. You are going to pay the $260 fee either way.the CA board told me you get 1 year from the date you get your results to schedule a re-take, otherwise you need to submit a brand new application.

yeah thats what happened to me as well. For the second time I used rxprep+ pharmacy chart. Pharmacy chart is like a condensed version of rxprep so I can bring it to me whenever
How long did you take to study for the second time around? Did you use rxprep question bank? What about rxprep's cpje? Have you heard of question bank from pharmacyexam? Thank you in advance!

That same paper should show you near the bottomThis may be a dumb question, but how do you know how you scored on each specific section? I got my results back and it only has a number.
