Long story short, had it scheduled for a Sept date, and found out a few days ago (had the full 3+ month wait) that I failed the CIS section. Pretty sure I know why. I’m a normal person, never had any big problems on my schools OSCE, just got a bad day mixed with stupid mistakes and 1-2 unlucky cases I wasn’t 100% prepared for.

But if I cannot find a date within the next 2 weeks before 12/31, which will have the results in time for ROL, then it’ll come after submitting.

Already declared step 1 and CK, and finished vast majority of interviews already. My school has no problem clearing me on their end to still be eligible to match. Some programs say Step 2 required, but don’t specify when (rank vs starting), and if both CK and CS are required.

I already know to be checking obsessively for an earlier date, but with finding out so late and the holidays coming up, I need a solid back up plan. Also I don’t wanna rush it and risk failing twice. I’m just at a loss of what to do in case I can’t find a date before 12/31. Is it still possible to match at a good program at a good program? Should I withdraw? It just sucks..

Take it whenever you like but don’t resubmit step scores. It’s maybe 1/15 programs that may require you to submit CS too. That 1 program would see it but the other 14 will too. May not care that you fail, but they might.
