hi
Am retaking step 2 CS because I failed SEP part which I passed during my mock exam.
So am not sure what to do!
Should I get an English tutor or take another course?

You can't really trust the people who grade and evaluate your mock exams since they all have maximising profits in mind and it would be unwise of them to fail someone who has paid them hundreds and thousand of dollars for a few hours long mock exam.
I believe the best way to improve your SEP component is to constantly speak in English in the days and weeks prior to your exam and also watch CNN America or any other American news show because those reporters have their emotions, punctuations and pronunciations on point. You should also train your mind to think in English and not in any other language because that'll make it more effortless for you to convey what you're thinking to the patient.

Sorry for SEP outcome. Do an accent reduction course. Most are 12 weeks for basic sounds. Listen audio books and imitate. Imitate loud with commanding, intonation and stress of each statement. Do a few baby songs to loosen the tongue. After or with this, if you get hx and exam video for CS, get to imitate questions as asked and exam instructions as given. If in US, register in a library for audio books/magazines and English classes. If Christian join church choir, professional singing in American English loosens your tongue fast.
