I failed my DAT on Monday, I cried like a little baby, but i am going to pick myself up again
My official DAT Score:

PAT: 19
Quantitative: 16 😱
Reading: 17😱 ( the sad thing i dosed off on this section)
Bio: 21
Gen Chem: 18😱
Ochem: 20
TS: 19 AA: 18

I know i will pass next time because i will cut down on work and i will have more resources available. looking at the postings i am noticing a trend: Destroyer, chad's, topscore, crack dat pat. etc

PLEASE SDN Community i am asking for your help to show me the way to better resources to better prepare myself for the next exam. I really want Chad's video's and topscore. If you have any other materials that are good for improving math and reading that would be nice too. Also if it not too much to ask do ya'll think my scores are bad?

I definitely wouldn't say you "failed" it. Your TS and PAT are the same as the average accepted dental student, and your AA is close behind. I agree the QR and RC are a little low, but that can be improved no doubt. I actually know a guy that just got accepted to the dental school here in GA with an 18 AA and 18 PAT with a GC score of 16 ... so again, your scores are not horrible. From what I've seen and heard, Chad's is a definite must for the chemistry, Cliff's & Barron's for biology, and DATqVault/Topscore for practicing questions. As for the QR, all I used was Kaplan to review simple concepts and got an 18. It would have been higher had I reviewed the unit circle and trig more (so definitely do that!). I'm not sure how to improve RC besides maybe looking at a few AP Literaure books that prepare students for the AP exam or just taking multiple practice exams on Topscore and CrackDAT (I assume it is included on there).

You did not fail, but you need to do better. All of the above materials are good. Just make sure you know Destroyer and Achiever questions. Also check your knowledge with Kaplan. You do all that, understand your work, your scores should increase significantly.
Good luck.

How much time did you spend preparing for it?

You probably need to put a bit more effort into studying. Know all tbe Destroyer roadmaps for orgo, know Cliffs and DAT qvault for bio. Know achiever tests and Destroyer for gen chem and math. You should do much better. Good luck.

Search for the "la datélisse" thread. It is a compilation of the best breakdowns on the site. You'll find everything you need there!

I studied from January to the last hour before the test. I started using my text books and i started to get overwhelmed. So i used the Kaplan blue book. Thanks for the advice everyone. I was wondering what is the website for Chad.
