I never took chemistry in HS (I couldn't at the time. I was taking it senior year, but had to get home schooled as a result of an unexpected medical emergency in the summer of that year. As a result, despite asking for chem, they never included chem in my home schooling plan) so I had to take a class prior to general chem. I had to take it as a blended course. I tried to understand, but between the vague power points and the book not actually explaining anything, I didn't understand. My classmates on the other hand, do, but they either took the class again (the earlier semester) or took high school chemistry. I'm retaking the class, but I'm worried that it'll ruin my chances of med school. I'm taking 2 biology courses (A+P1 and Micro)and doing relatively fine, a B and a C in both respectively. I'm also doing a gym and a math course (this was for a major a don't have anymore) So my grades are BBBC(D/F for Chemistry since I can't calculate this yet)
I was trying to focus on Micro, since I struggle with it more due to it being only once a week, but that made the Chem grade drop. At this point I'm afraid I can't raise the grade anymore.
