Ok so here's my dilemma: we just got our first quiz back in chem 201. I got a 44 out of 80 🙁 I've gotten a 100 on all the homework assignments and have done all the extra credit assignments so far. The problem is without extra credit factored in I have to get at least a 95 on every test/quiz and at least a 90 on the final to get an 88 in the class. Personally I was hoping for an A in this class as my GPA is only a 3.5 something right now.
I could drop the class and take it next semester but I'm a junior hoping to take the MCAT in April and I'm going to need concepts from this class for the MCAT. I'm pretty sure the problem is I'm taking 15 credit hours of straight science courses, plus 3 credit hours of research (about 30 hours a week) and Im in Marching Band (about 20 hours a week).
If I drop that class and move it to next semester would it be too much paired with anatomy 2, genetics, a psych course, research and MCAT prep?? I could drop one of my minors which would give me more room to move my classes around but I don't really want to. The other option is to take genetics over the summer but I was hoping to dedicate that to working and doing secondaries.
Advice? (sorry the post is long)
