I hate to even start one of these threads, but I am really up in the air right now about my fall schedule.

Biology II - 5 semester hours
Chemistry II - 5 hours
Calc I - 5 hours
Music 100 - 3 hours (required for my degree)

It seems to me that the music class will be a breeze, but does this seem like a bad idea? I'll either keep the music class or throw it out. I'm not working during school so that's not a factor. I'm done with classes by 2pm everyday with this schedule, which makes me feel like I can handle it. Up until this point I've done really well in all my classes & did 17 hours last semester....any advice/thoughts?

(As a side note, my spring semester is much worse looking. I plan on taking Orgo I, upper level Bio, and Physics I....maybe I shouldn't worry too much about this fall )

Looks fine to me. You have handled a tough course load before and really, how hard can a music class be? Unless they're crazy about making you compose something and you're being graded subjectively, in which case it could suck. But, you know how good you are w/ Music and what kind of class it will be.

This music class will get me out of taking a history class. I hate history. This is the course description: "Listening, understanding, and enjoying music." No joke. Hence why I threw it in there for the semester. I just wasn't sure if I would have time for it because I want to focus on making A's in the other classes since they're pre-reqs.

If it makes a difference, it will be my first semester at a university vs a CC....I'm totally up for the challenge, but I don't want to screw myself over
