Fall grade change

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Hey everyone:

I updated several schools with my fall grades last week, however I found out one of my professors changed my grade from an (A-) to an (A) in the interim.
My semester GPA went from 3.85 --> 3.95
My overall GPA went from 3.75 --> 3.8

I was wondering if it is worth it (or if it would annoy AdComs) to send ANOTHER update just a week later informing them of this change (for the better) or if it is minute. I am playing with an upward trend as it is, and this definitely helps reinforce the upward trend.

Danke Schon
I would not send it. AMCAS schools will not recalculate your application GPAs based on new information.

Wait. Going from an A- to an A in a single course raised your cumulative GPA by 0.05 points? With a 3.75 already and many credit hours (assuming you’re at least junior standing) that doesn’t make sense to me.

Forgot the small print: For THIS university. I transferred during undergrad so less than half of my credit hours are from this university. Half are from another.

1.25% change in overall GPA (3.75 to 3.8) from a 7.5% change in one grade (3.7 to 4.0)? LOL. Something's off. Did you only take six classes so far (7.5%/1.25% = 6)?
