Heres ths story in brief:

Got a two steo TB test and turned out positive. Had a CXR which was normal. Dr put me on NIH which im not sure i want to take but will if needed. Out of curiosity, i went to a walk in clinic and got restested last night and there the induration is very small (less than 5 mm). Basically, is it possible that the 1st test i got turned out to be a false positive?

You potentially have coinfection of HIV and tuberculosis. I would see a physician immediately.

Not sure man. Probably best to just take the meds if the doc says to. I got TB while in mexico. I've been on INH for +/- 6 months now. Pretty much the same story as you. The test results were kinda iffy.

Having TB (not full blown, just possitive test) really got me interested in the disease. I've done alot of research on my own since then. It's been a cool experience. I have seen alot of stuff from the inside out. *Bright idea* Do you think I should add that to my experiences portion of the AAMCS? Seriously?
