Fast track recruitment

If you are geographically limited for jobs is it possible to get a fast track contract with a group you are interested in and in the location you are limited to due to family, etc? Kind of like the military where you get monthly stipends but then you are obligated for x number of years after training.

Thanks for your response. It is best to cold call these groups or use a recruiter since this is a special case?

Talk to the group first. If they won't communicate with you (unlikely), then I would talk to a recruiter. Recruiters are not in it for you, they're in it for them.
