WHO PUT RC?

That section was depressing. You had to focus sooo much.

PAT is no doubt the best if you did CDP tests.

Strange might sum it up. That section was hell... I found myself either 3 inches from the screen focusing intensely or wondering what I wanted to eat after I got done.

Well, I took the DAT twice. In preparation for my retake, I studied really hard for QR/PAT (my weakest sections). I didn't do much for RC, and my score stayed the same! It might have been a lucky break, though. I agree ... RC demands a lot of focus, and it can be quite difficult to concentrate under test-taking conditions.

Ditto here. I liked my passages. Then again, I had to read those suckers fast while I was taking the test. No time to enjoy them.

Definitely QR. This is the most unique section which requires not only math but also statistic, economy and basic judgment skills.

I think I'd have to go with RC, I just had an awesome RC experience on my DAT since one of the passages was the same topic I took a class on, and I ended up doing really well. Rose colored glasses eh? Runner up would be PAT, there's just something fun about paper folding.

I must have gotten lucky, because my RC was way easy. I knew this section would prop up my QR score and so RC was the only section I finished with a big smile. It was easily my worst section going into the study process but search and destroy just boosted me right up, haha. Oh, and it helped that my one of my RC's was stuff I already knew...

I just thought the articles were interesting. I think if you can convince yourself of that then RC is not that bad of a section. Luckily i didn't get FRAPPED 😀
