Does anyone know when the deadlines for registration are for the February OAT?
I know its on the 5th, but I don't know when I need to register by.

Also, if i'm not happy with my October OAT score, should i just go ahead and register for the February one or wait and hear from the schools? Will they tell me to take it again or just flat out reject me? My GPA is good and I have the experience, its just my OAT and the fact that I'm trying to get in after only 3 years of undergard that has be worried....

What are your stats (gpa, oat)? And where did you apply?

GPA 3.4-3.5
NECO, PCO, ICO
OAT Academic Average 280 🙁

I love how everyone keeps telling me "you're only a junior, you can just wait till next year and apply again"
but I'm really feeling down, if you work towrds something for so long and then fail in one aspect of it, how could you not?

but then your GPA is high!!! so it should be ..........ok I guess..

KEEP FAITH!!!!

I know how it feels tho.. hehe..I"m so anxious in getting my OAT as well..(they have to SLOWLY send it back to Canada) hehe..

CHeerz!

I would apply anyway, although I hear that schools are looking for at least 300 score even with your high gpa. I would give applying this year a shot and if you don't get in, you'll try next year with the improved oat score. That would show the schools that you are applying to your persistence and dedication to the profession, a bonus when you interview.

My applications went out before my OAT scores got to me and depressed me, so I guess I have no choice. I'm just hoping that I won't get a flat out rejection, and that they'll give me a chance to prove myself during the February OAT...
