The prompt is:
What is the toughest feedback you ever received? How did you handle it and what did you learn from it?

I was thinking about writing about being given feedback from my PI in the lab I was in during my last year of undergrad that with all of the projects I was helping her with, along with running my own project in the lab, I was getting disorganized and sometimes a little sloppy from multitasking. So I took the feedback. I only took on what I could handle and developed an organizational system for myself. It took some time to get used to, but eventually I was getting the same amount done and more efficiently/effectively. I found that the organizational skills helped me beyond the lab as well.

Does this work? Is it too braggy? Too related to academics? Not significant enough?

I'm sure you've received tougher feedback than that. Also, probably a little too academic. Try to pick something that involves interpersonal lessons learned.

How about going with getting chewed out by my 12th grade track coach for getting too complacent as the reason for me not improving when I was trying to just give up. It pushed me, I improved, succeeded, and learned to seek out and take feedback/criticism. Better? Too far in the past? Too trivial?
