Feeling overwhelmed
Started by mardr2b
Step 1) Go on Reddit for 3 hours
Step 2) Realize you just spent a ton of time doing nothing
Step 3) Get more stressed
Step 4) Do two problems to get started up again
Step 5) Take a 10 minute Reddit break because you are proud of yourself.
Step 6) Repeat Steps 1-5.
Honestly though, I just reassure myself that my plan will prepare me. Any of the above choices work though... Exercise, naps, snack break, video games... just make sure you set a time limit and are disciplined enough to stick to it (I'm pretty disciplined myself, but I'll occasionally take a 30 minute break instead of a 10 minute break and I feel awful after... Stick to your schedule!).

When I get frustrated I just put on my earphones and go to treadmill and run without thinking about anything for like 30min or so.. Or think about your future? yourself on a white coat? Try to motivate yourself with happy thoughts and think about what you'll get after you go through this phase of your life.
Eat or play basketball/football with friends
The only thing to make you relax is knowing you are ready based on sample tests. Study until you get there then you can relax.

I am studying for my DAT now. I am on my 5th week and I am feeling completely overwhelmed by the amount of materials I have to get through before my exam in June. I feel like I forgotten everything I learned in the previous weeks. Do you guys feel like that too?
I know exactly how you are feeling. I am taking my DAT soon too. Make sure you are reviewing the material the next day that you studied the previous day. Study multiple subjects in a day instead of focusing on one.I am studying for my DAT now. That is exactly how I felt when I studied for my DAT. I was like, "didn't I study this 2 days ago, how can I forget?" But you know what, keep focused stay focusedI am studying for my DAT now.
