Hello,
I am a 2nd year ER resident that recently got accepted to the FAP army program. My AD service is supposed to start after i complete residency in 2023, nevertheless, i would love to do fellowship.
My question is, can i apply to Civilian fellowship (ERAS) to match in 2023, despite that i am suppose to start my service on the same year or i cant apply to fellowship at all until i complete at least 18 month of AD service.
The recruiter told me that i am allow to apply, but after talking to the GME coordinator stated that i need to wait 18 month of AD service.
