Pediatric Radiology Fellowship
The Department of Radiology at Nationwide Children’s Hospital (NCH) is pleased to offer a one-year ACGME accredited Pediatric Radiology fellowship. We currently have a position available for the 2022-23 academic year. Candidates should be American Board of Radiology certified or eligible in Diagnostic Radiology. Our department also offers additional fellowships in pediatric interventional radiology, pediatric neuroradiology, and pediatric cardiovascular to eligible candidates.

With a growing practice of 28 faculty members providing care in all subspecialties of pediatric radiology, NCH serves as the academic teaching hospital for pediatric radiology for The Ohio State University Radiology Residency Program and for the Department of Pediatrics of the Ohio State University College of Medicine. Numerous opportunities for research and innovation are afforded by the department and the hospital. The Imaging Innovation and Research Office (IRO) is the core imaging resource for principle investigators at the NCH and the Abigail Wexner Research Institute. The department’s Pediatric Advanced Imaging Resource (PAIR) is a is a 3D image post-processing (including 3D-printing) and data analysis lab for both clinical care and advanced image analysis for research. Medical Imaging Scientists and Physicists are a key component of PAIR and provide scientific input and oversight for new clinical programs, develop new sequences to help advance patient care, and evaluate new clinical software applications.

Named to the Top 10 Honor Roll on U.S. News & World Report’s 2021-22 list of “Best Children’s Hospitals,” Nationwide Children’s Hospital is one of America’s largest not-for-profit freestanding pediatric health care systems providing wellness, preventive, diagnostic, treatment and rehabilitative care for infants, children and adolescents, as well as adult patients with congenital disease.

Nationwide Children’s has a staff of more than 13,000 providing state-of-the-art pediatric care during more than 1.6 million patient visits annually. As home to the Department of Pediatrics of The Ohio State University College of Medicine, Nationwide Children’s physicians train the next generation of pediatricians and pediatric specialists.

The Abigail Wexner Research Institute at Nationwide Children’s Hospital is one of the Top 10 National Institutes of Health-funded free-standing pediatric research facilities in the U.S., supporting basic, clinical, translational and behavioral health research. The AWRI encompasses three research facilities totaling more than 500,000 square feet dedicated to research.
