Now that the match is over, it is time to look at fellowships!
If someone wants to do "retina", what are things one can do that will help in getting a good fellowship?
I know about "knowing Big Guys", going to the academy, OKAPS (may help).etc.
Anything else?
Is research a big criteria in securing a spot? Does it have to be in retina? How many papers/cases one has to publish to be qualified for a good retina fellowship?
