FERPA waiver???

+1 wondering the same thing. If for example, my friend receives an institutional action prior to medical school attendance but after the whole application process, anyone know if you are required to divulge the information?

OP, I assume that after that point in time, hypothetically, you have to if you sign off on the release of your academic records. I wonder if this has been an issue before. Personally, my own transcripts and a deposit were all that were required of me. But on the application at the time, it did ask to disclose any disciplinary sanctions you may have received. I am not sure if that applies to all possible sanctions afterwards, and especially prior to. I know you sign off, but for some reason I am not sure if you even have to report it. It usually does not go on transcripts unless it resulted in a suspension or expulsion (in which case I highly recommend you report it). Otherwise, I recommend you report it because you should be truthful.
