Fewer Residency Applicants

Posting for discussion. We've been seeing a decline in pharmacy school applications, but now we're seeing a decrease in applicants to residency programs. The data in 2023 will be telling whether or not this is a blip or the first indicator of a trend.

It'll be interesting as the rules are changing for residency funding. I'm curious with the credential oversaturation.

The drop in unmatched positions and applications appear to be of similar magnitude. The unfilled positions appears to only be a slight uptick by comparison. I’m tilting towards fluke.
