Studying will start April 9th, exam is on May 11th.
I need to figure out a schedule for studying and resources.
So I have this worked out so far:
First Aid - Biochem, Anatomy, Behavioral, Pharm, Embryo, Immuno
BRS Physio - Physio
Micro - Clinical Micro Made ridiculously simple (FA does not do this subject justice at ALL)
Path - RR Goljan or BRS (need help making a decision here)
Okay, here's my dilemma for path. BRS Path definitely skimps out on things, but it's a short read. Goljan Rapid Review is something everyone recommends, but that book is THICK and I have difficulty reading the outline format. Should I read along with Goljan Audio to get everything I need? What do you think I should do?
P.S. I made the stupid mistake of not looking at any review books at all for the year (I had them lying around, but I found that they sucked for our tests and I stuck wiith the slides for Path/Micro, which def did do the subject justice, but now I don't have a lot of written notes). Should that badly affect me in my chances of getting a 230+?
As far as my scheduling goes, with those resources listed above, how many subjects should I cover per day? I also would like to do a lot of USMLEWorld qbank as I'm studying to reinforce those subjects.
