It theoretically shouldn't hurt you, though there have been speculation among SDN'ers. Of course, you shouldn't lie and put anything that you're not down, but I guess leave it or put it --> to me, doesn't really do much of a difference.

If it helps I'm half Viet, half Chinese. And I'm going to put my ethnicity down when I apply because I figure unless I'm URM, they won't really care (or at least they're not supposed to)

They can prob tell by your last name and languages spoken etc. So I guess why not.
