i was wondering if it was okay to begin filling out secondaries on-line eventhough i have not heard from the school yet? for example, i have yet to receive any information from nyu or columbia but i know that their secondaries are available on-line. is anyone else in the same position?

I was in the same position, and decided to start filling them out. However, I am not submitting or paying until I actually get the letter.

I submitted Columbia's without being invited ... but there have been invitations for NYU, so you might not want to fill out that one until being asked.

I called Columbia's admissions office and the lady said that I could send the secondary before they've invited me or even seen my AMCAS.

I sent one to Columbia before any invite. In fact, I still haven't heard anything from them. I know that they don't screen so it's not a problem. NYU on the other hand screens candidates so in case you don't recieve an invite you may be wasting your time. I haven't done that one yet.
