Hey y'all. I have asked for some help crafting a school list before and I used the amazing advice of @Faha to finish one up and added a few schools from individual research. I am willing to spend money on applications so if you guys have any suggestions that are additional to the list, feel free to add anything. Also I'd appreciate a clue as to schools that are absolutely bananas and seem like I made my research really poorly. I'm going to copy my stats from my last post and then post the crafted school list.

Hello! I am just about to begin applying for medical schools this cycle and I would like a little bit of help with this entire process. I really really appreciate any sort of assistance that any of you kind busy people can offer me so I would just like to get that out of the way.

My cGPA is a 3.71 and my sGPA around a 3.5. There is an upward trend in there with my first year of college ending with around a 3.3 before I picked it up a little bit.

For the MCAT I got a 509. I was pretty disappointed in myself because I had averaged a 513 on my practice tests and see this as the big big weakness in here.

I am a NY resident. I would like to stay in New York if at all possible so I will apply to a bunch of NY schools!

I am white guy.

I study at a public NY school on a full scholarship. I suppose its like top 75?

I don't have any non-volunteering clinical hours. In terms of clinical volunteering though I volunteered for roughly 250 hours each in the ER wing of a hospital as well as a primary care office. I have a pretty strong LOR from my PA manager there.

I researched in a marine biology lab for a short 50 hour span. I don't think I should list this on my application because I left the PI in imperfect circumstances and it simply just didn't work out.

I shadowed a pain management doctor for 115 hours throughout a year.

In terms of nonclinical volunteering I did plenty of it but it is a little rough to list. I definitely did 250ish hours with one organization but I also did a LOT more through student government of which I am the President so I have no idea how to list it.

I was in student government each of my four years in college. I focused on many health-related issues in my college, namely making sure our personnel counseling office is actually staffed and our EMS department is not under-equipped. This last year I became President of student government. It has been an incredible, life changing experience. I would say I probably put roughly 1,500 hours into student government throughout my college career, 900 of which was this year as President. Part of that 900 was volunteering in the under served community in which my college resides.

I suppose I got into Phi Beta Kappa but I highly doubt it matters much.
