I think the point of sending in your final transcript is just proof for graduating...

So does that mean if I got a D or C's and B's on my final semester and still graduate.. I am still good?

Anyone thought about it or even know stories?

Just curious to thoughts!

If you fail a pre-req or don't take classes you said you were going to take you'll also screw yourself over.

Unless I am wrong, you do realize a D won't give you credit for a class right?

Here's my two cents. I was planning on taking certain classes and ended up dropping them, so I had to email my school and ask about it.
  • You have to inform the school that you've dropped the classes and they'll go to the admissions committee for approval.
  • You must pass your prerequisites with a C. Call in and ask your school if they'll take a C- or lower in a non-prerequisite course, because it's different for every school. I think at UoP you're not allowed to get below a B, though.

Depends on the school. A letter that I received from one school's acceptance clearly stated that if my GPA upon graduation was lower than my GPA on my application that they reserved the right to rescind the acceptance. I followed up with them via telephone and email to see if they ever exercise that option. Bottom line was yes, but rarely. I would imagine they might exercise it if you came limping in with a senior year full of C's as that would clearly indicate that you just gave up and stopped taking classes seriously.
