Being done with this test is the greatest feeling ever. SDN helped me quite a bit so I figured I would post my scores/anything I have learned from this whole thing.....

PA- 25
QR-18
RC-23
BIO-18
GC-21
OC-19
TS-19
AA-20

I am a finance major so biology was definitely my weakness. My GPA is a 3.87, science 3.9.

What I used: DAT & Math Destroyer, CDP, Cliffs AP Bio, and Chad's Videos.

My first piece of advice is to relax because I stressed way too much about this test. I am working full time, going to school full time, married and taking care of a family, and training for a marathon that I run in 3 weeks. Even with all of this I was able to get a decent score. A lot of the posts on here really scared me because I didnt have the time to study 10 hours a day or take a semester off. So you can do it, no matter what you have going on.

Ok here is what I though of each section:

BIO- After this section I thought I was totally screwed. There were hardly any questions from Cliff's AP. I think the best way to get a good grade in this section is to have a solid backround in biology. I have really only taken the required Bio classes so this was definitely hard for me. I was super stoked to see 18 cause I didnt think I had done that well. Cliff's helped for some of the questions, but just like everyone else said, it was all mostly pretty random.

GC- Chad is the man. I watched his videos all the way through once, and listened to all the GC ones again while I was working. If you can master what he teaches, you can get a decent score IMO. I did all of the GC questions on DAT Destroyer. For the most part I found those questions to be a lot harder, but it definitely prepares you for the test. I didnt think this section was too bad.

OC- Pretty much the same as GC. Chad was pretty good. I dont feel like I got too many mechanism problems which is what I had prepared the most for. I went through all of the DAT Destroyer problems for this one as well. It definitely prepares you. I thought I did better than a 19 but Ill take it.

PAT- This was the easiest for me. I did 6 of the 10 practice tests on CDP. At first I was getting like 20s, then I changed some stuff and started averaging 23-25s. I was stoked on this section. Do CDP if you can, it works perfectly.

RC- I was way nervous for this section cause I didnt really do anything to prepare for it. Seems like the others who took this test on the same day got high scores on this too so maybe it was just easier. I just used a search and destroy method. It seemed to work fine. I used all of the time.

QR- Man, I thought I was prepared for this section but I was way wrong. This kicked my butt. I took the sample ADAA one that they have on their website and only missed like 2. This was WAY harder than that IMO. There was a lot of sin, cos, tan stuff which I only studied a little. I finished all of the questions but had to guess on quite a few cause I didnt know how to do them.

The bottom line: Everyone is different. Take the advice on here with a grain of salt because everyone has to study in different ways. If I could go back in time, I wouldnt even start thinking about the test until 2 months before. I just was burnt out by the time my test came because I had been stressing about it for 3 to 4 months. I am a crammer so thats how I study. Thanks to everyone for all of the advice. Hopefully this helps someone else. I didnt get the best scores on here but I am definitely satisfied with them. No way Im going through that again.

Thanks! I hope I am competitive enough? There are quite a few people killing the test lately. Should I be ok applying to like 5-7 schools or should I plan on doing more?

5-7 is okay.... but IMO, I'd aim at 10 minimum (you don't wanna risk it).

But yeh man, 3.8s and 20AA = recipe for interviews
